Our Story

The vision and purpose of Pursuing the Father’s Heart ministry is to encourage and champion you to push, press, and surrender to being dedicated to living and walking in the totality of the Father’s destiny for your life.

In spring of 2019 this vision was given to pray over. So, the focused obedience was to pray over the vision given as the Holy Spirit continued to prompt, reveal, and give direction.  Unsure as to the time and place, I continued until I was released to share what he was birthing in my spirit. 

Around November of 2019, I sensed the release to share. I knew who I was to share the vision with as the individuals had been given during the months of prayer. So, I reached out to all and set a time and date to meet. As we met, I released the vision and confirmation was released by some of the ladies that were there. Grateful to be able to be a part of what Father God was doing, we prayed and worshiped for what He was doing in us, through us, and for the lives of those that he desired to reach through this event. As we begin to prepare, we begin looking for a venue and setting a date. We set the date for 2020 however we did not anticipate what would happen next. 

The United States and many other countries began to shut down so with much prayer and peace, I gathered all items and information and put it on the shelf. As the pandemic settled and the country began to close, in my spirit there was such a conviction to be intentionally creative with staying connected and not isolating. In my time of prayer, the Holy Spirit gave a vision to start a small group called “Pursuing the Father’s Heart.” As I suggested that someone else initiate and lead it, the clarity quickly came that it was given to me for me to lead. I was skeptical, as this group would be established via Zoom and through my heart of expectation, I could not imagine how His presence would impact each person. 

The Saturday devotional group “Pursuing the Father’s Heart” was established May 2020. The focus was to stay connected during a time of separation and turmoil, created by the enemy. As we fast forward to 2021 and in a time of prayer, it was clear that it was time to begin the ministry “Pursuing the Father’s Heart and take the encounter off the shelf and resume planning. This ministry was born by His vision, passion and love becoming our heart. For His heart focused in on the Kingdom, winning the lost through love (“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke 19:10) and launching believers into His calling designed on their life.

Our prayer is that through this ministry that He would bring Freedom and launch and thrust you into his purpose, plan, and focused destiny.

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.

Pursuing The Father’s Heart Ministry is Kingdom minded, believing that when God’s churches come together as one, we will walk in the power and authority of Jesus, defined in Luke 10:19 and we will be a lighthouse for our community. Our heart is to help each individual reach wholeness through encounter weekends, then getting them plugged into local churches where they are discipled and encouraged to walk in their giftings, fulfilling the calling that God has placed on their life. We envision churches filled with healthy people, united with one mind and in one accord, working alongside each other to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our community. We strive to be the bridge that helps churches become The Church.
